This policy is governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates, in particular Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. Principle

We process personal data only where you have given your consent or where processing is necessary to prepare or perform a contract with you. You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future, by email.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by tasjeel.ae, RAKEZ Business Zone-FZ, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Technically necessary data (for example IP address, browser type and time of access) is processed to provide the website securely.

4. Cookies and fonts

This website does not use analytics or marketing cookies. Fonts and code libraries are loaded from our own server, not from third parties. The one exception is the ProvenExpert review seal (see section 7).

5. Self-check

Your answers in the Human Circle self-check are stored only in your browser (local storage) and are not sent to us, unless you choose to add the result to your application.

6. Application for a Discovery Call

When you submit the application form, we process your details (first name, email address, your answers, your message and the source through which you reached this website, for example a campaign tag or the referring website) to review your application, contact you and arrange a conversation. The legal bases are your consent and the preparation of a contract. Please do not include health information in the form.

7. Services used

The following services may process data outside the UAE, in particular in the EU and the USA. This transfer is based on your explicit consent (Funnelspot), on necessity for preparing or performing our contract with you (Funnelspot booking, Zoom, WhatsApp), and on the contractual and privacy terms of the respective providers.

• Funnelspot (Funnelspot GmbH, Mediapark 4e, 50670 Cologne, Germany): managing your application, booking your complimentary Discovery Call and email communication.
• Zoom (Zoom Communications, Inc., San José, USA): online sessions.
• WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Ireland): communication between sessions, if you wish.
• ProvenExpert (Expert Systems AG, Quedlinburger Straße 1, 10589 Berlin, Germany): on this website, we show a review seal that is loaded as an image from ProvenExpert’s servers. In doing so, ProvenExpert receives technically necessary data such as your IP address and browser details. No cookies are set. Clicking the seal takes you to our profile on ProvenExpert, where ProvenExpert’s privacy notice applies.
• Amazon (amazon.de or amazon.co.uk): sale of the book. The “Get the book” link takes you to Amazon’s website, where Amazon’s privacy notice applies.

8. Retention

We keep your data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Applications that do not lead to working together are deleted no later than 12 months after receipt. You can delete your self-check answers at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Please contact hello@janpoulev.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority in the UAE.
